There are many ways you can improve the lives of people with Down Syndrome. Giving your time, experiences, knowledge or charitable donation are all fantastic ways to get involved. The procedes go directly to the Down Syndrome center at Rady Children’s Hospital.

Services Provided

Children with Down syndrome have a wide range of abilities. Evaluation and early intervention can help each child achieve his or her full potential. We are committed to supporting each family according to their unique and specific needs.

The Down Syndrome Center provides these services:

• Multidisciplinary assessment
• Genetic counseling
• Comprehensive case management and collaboration educational and clinical professionals
• Patient advocacy
• Social services

Pediatric Down Syndrome Center Team

The multidisciplinary center offers assessments, recommendations and case management. Each and every professional gives the patient the absolute best care available today.

After an initial assessment is provided, therapists may choose to provide home activities, recommend a return visit or connect families to existing community agencies for educational and therapeutic interventions.
